GPOY, last day in my old classroom before the state decided it could no longer afford me.
This week I went back to school—as a student. Staring at the wrong side of the lectern makes me sad, but this class is the first step in a tedious process that may earn me a piece of paper that could allow me to teach at a poorly funded high school some day, economy willing.
